Sweden strengthens its underground shelters to face the threat of nuclear war
Faced with an uncertain geopolitical situation, the Swedish government recently announced a substantial investment in the modernization and strengthening of its fallout shelters. The decision came against the backdrop of a perceived deterioration in regional security, accentuated by international tensions and Sweden’s recent membership of NATO.
