An orange alert status has been declared, representing the second phase of the four-phase protocol. This warning warns of possible danger to the island in the next 24 hours. Météo France warns of wind gusts above 150 km/h and does not rule out its direct effects. Threats listed include winds of up to 220 km/h at low altitudes and 250 km/h at high altitudes, waves over six meters and heavy rain.
